A Yancy Life instructors deliver innovative Math, Science, History, and Language Arts academic development instruction during the school day in a 1-to-1, small group, or whole class co-teaching environment.
Yancy’s non-academic offerings are
diverse to ensure every student’s interest. They include but are not limited to chess,
hands-on science, financial literacy, arts, photography, journalism, and several
choices for physical movement - sports, dance, Step, and Drumline.
Yancy’s mentorship curriculum focuses on
building self-esteem, social awareness, and civic engagement, improving student
attendance rates, higher student achievement, lowering dropout rates, and
increasing campus culture.
Yancy’s take on post-high school life planning for all students. These sessions help students develop critical non-cognitive skills and college knowledge while instilling confidence to persevere to reach their long-term college and career goals.
We assist aspiring student entrepreneurs in acquiring cross-disciplinary skills derived from social psychology, organizational behavior, information technology, finance, and marketing.
Yancy uses specialized on-campus events,
increased communication, and systematic outreach to create a two-way street where
schools, families, and communities actively work together, creating networks of shared responsibility for student success.
